Lil's One Year Pictures

The tutu and hat get-up we borrowed from friends, but the rocking chair, pillow, and silver rattle were mine as a baby. The dress we got for Grace's wedding, and we have pictures of me as a baby in a similar dress. Christina was great to work with, and I am so happy with all the pictures!

Thanksgiving 2010

We spent Thanksgiving this year at my Nana's house. Holidays are a big deal at her house. She goes all out, and they are usually pretty formal. I do believe the place cards were set two weeks in advance! I was kinda worried about Lillian and if she would sling sweet potatoes across the room, or drop peas on the rug! She did great, though, and everyone had a wonderful time! We have SO much to be thankful for this year, and I am so appreciative!

I can not wait for Christmas this year! Kids make the holidays so much fun! Lil has done pretty well with the tree so far. No broken ornaments as of yet!

Everything right now is "Daaww" for dog. And if you ask her what the dog says, she says "whhoo". So cute. Her favorite toy at the moment is a box of diapers. She loves to sit on it and push it around the house. Who needs real toys?? Works for me...

Happy Thanksgiving!

My sister-in-law snapped some pics of Lil after church last Sunday. We pretty much have a walker! She is taking several series of steps all by herself. I got her a pair of squeaky shoes, so she LOVES to hear them squeak everytime she steps. We are looking forward to a traditional, yummy Thanksgiving at my grandmother's house!

Christmas Cards

I am so excited to order our Christmas cards this year! And even more excited that Shutterfly is offering 50 Free Cards to Bloggers! Yay! We usually send out 150 or so each year (Dustin likes to send one to all his customers, too), so 50 free really helps! Shutterfly's prices are so great to begin with! I am really impressed with their designs this year, they have so many great ones to choose from. I am really liking this one and this one. It will be a tough decision....do I want fun or sophisticated? I am also thinking of ordering photo books or calendars of Lillian's first year as gifts for family. We got our Christmas pics taken over the weekend, so look for a sneak peak and stay tuned to see what card we chose!

Lil's First Party

We celebrated Lillian's first birthday party on the common area in Reunion. I was so worried about the weather, frost was predicted! I had scheduled her party for a morning brunch, but ended up pushing it back an hour. The weather actually turned out perfect!

Lil is in love with our boxer, but we don't let her near him yet. He is still too rowdy, so we got her a stuffed one. She LOVES him!

She Loved her cozy coupe from Grammy and Jimdaddy, and her red wagon from Neena and Papaw!

I think Lillian had a blast and I was so pleased with how everything turned out!

In ONE short year! It amazes me how fast this year has flown by! This has been the very best year of my entire life, and I look forward to many many more wonderful years with this sweet little girl!!!

My Little Mermaid

My Lillian was a mermaid for this year's Fall Festival at our church!
